Providing high quality bow and instrument repairs and maintenance to the string playing community in the Baltimore Washington Metropolitan area.
COVID-19 UPDATE: OPEN
We are excited to be open now at our new location at 177 Defense Highway, Suite 7. (Directions here.)
Here are the protocols we have put in place to safeguard our staff and customers:
We will resume business hours beginning Tuesday, May 19th on a by-appointment-only basis. This is the best way to limit the number of people arriving at the shop at the same time. To make an appointment, call (410)440-7938 or email email@example.com. Tell us your preferred drop off day and we will offer you the available times!
Employees and Customers will be required to wear a mask during their visit, and a 6ft distance must be maintained at all times. At Annapolis Bows & Violins, we take everyone’s health and safety very seriously. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided for you. If you or a member of your party is unwilling to wear a mask, we respectfully ask that you delay your visit to Annapolis Bows & Violins until it is deemed safe by public health officials that masks are not necessary.
We will be accepting instrument repairs and bow rehairs, but customers should allow more time than our usual quick turnaround time, due to our sanitation process. Because of social distancing guidelines, we will not be performing any while-you-wait rehairs, setup, or tonal adjustments at this time. All incoming repairs may be required to quarantine for up to three days before being worked on. We will also set an appointment for you to pick up the finished repair.
As an option for no-contact transactions, card payments can be taken either online or over the phone.
If you are interested in purchasing an instrument, unfortunately we cannot yet allow customers inside our new showroom to try out instruments. Instead, we are allowing up to 4 instruments taken out at a time on a ten-day trial, and we will do our best to provide a good selection to try at home, based on your budget and needs.
Thank you for your patience. Our priority is everyone’s safety, while still providing the necessary repairs and maintenance, so the music can go on!
